MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES

ARDEM provides:

      a) document scanning of large sized engineering drawings
      b) conversion to editable CAD format and
      c) indexing to make drawings retrievable in a document retrieval system
      d) converting engineering drawings from 2D to 3D

We provide :

  • computer aided design,
  • detailed specification preparation,
  • configuration management,
  • document control,
  • electrical and electronic circuit design,
  • industrial control logic programming.

Scanning and indexing engineering drawings can help organize and make the replication process quicker and more cost effective. Yet often, scanned drawings need to be made editable for general CAD use, then engineers can re-use and modify previously developed drawings.

In addition to using commercial “off the shelf” software for conversion of scanned images to vector drawings, ARDEM manually translates the text, line and circle attributes to re-create the drawing in CAD file format.

Quality assurance ensures that there is no more than 5% deviation from scanned document on a 1:1 overlay check with the original.
