Turning
Paper Documents into Electronic Files
Saves an Average of 30% on Retrieval Cost
Steps
Involved in Creating a "Smart Filing" System.
Decide which
files you wish to have added to your "Smart Filing" system.
We
prepare a quality checklist of every
document you have provided us.
We scan the documents
at our scanning centers. Typically all
documents are
scanned in Group IV, tif format at 200
dpi. Documents are uploaded on our FTP
server, each client with password secured
access.
The processing center
is notified that documents are ready to
be processed and
we download the images.
Process the images for the
required database and begin data cleanup
and
Indexing.
Final customer product. This
is typically a database or text file.
We upload the output
back to the customer FTP server or give
access to our FTP server as per the understanding
we have with the customer.
Based on search
criteria defined by the customer a document
anagement system is created. By indexing
the scanned images using the customers
search criteria, images can be opened
at the employees workstation, thus saving
time and improving efficiency.
